Photofacials, also referred to as Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), are treatments using a broad light source to reduce brown pigment and redness of the skin. The treatment can be applied to many areas of the skin. Recovery time is minimal. More than one treatment may be needed depending on the degree of sun damage. This can be combined with Levulan treatment to reduce precancerous growths on the skin.
